ABOUT US
We are an award winning amateur drama group, founded in 1946, and affiliated to the National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA).
In April 2011, after 41 years, we moved to our current base at The Old Grammar School in Chipping Sodbury which we call The Sphere (Sodbury Players Here!).
We currently perform three main productions each year at Chipping Sodbury Town Hall - a pantomime in January and plays in May and September. In addition, we regularly enter the All England One Act Play Festival.
We also have a very successful Youth Section - SPYS (Sodbury Players Youth Section).
We have an active social calendar with events throughout the year. Past highlights have included summer barbeques, theatre trips and not forgetting a regular visit to the pub after rehearsals.
