From the pen of Michael Morpurgo, creator of “War Horse”, “Private Peaceful” is the poignant WW1 story of two brothers, divided by love but united by war. This powerful piece of theatre is brought to the stage by the Award Winning Sodbury Players as the nation commemorates the centenary of World War One.
Private Peaceful was published by Harper Collins in 2003.
It was made into a film in October 2012, directed by Pat O’Connor.
